What is "Paint on Canvas?"
The group is instructed by a talented artist in the steps needed to complete their own version of an acrylic painting. The Artist has their example on display and also paints each step for the group to follow-along. During the 3 hour class we take short breaks for snacks and door prizes!
"Paint On Canvas" was started by Carrie Chavers, 30 year public High School Art Teacher/Adjunct Professor in Chickasha, Oklahoma. After seeing limited opportunities for people in the community to explore the Arts, the "Paint On Canvas" workshop idea blossomed. With so many talented Artists in Chickasha and surrounding communities, we are confident "Paint On Canvas" will offer variety and be a creative playground for budding artists.
